The Universe is conceptually engraved within some spirits, but in the East African and the Great lakes Region context, Bacwezi (Cwezi) spirituality is literally the definition of life.
what you know as religious based spirits is rather a wrong notion in the African context. The western religions might call these Sacred African Spirits ‘paganism’ including the Great Cwezi Spirits.
These are the actual angels of God, they are the purest spirits whose knowledge has been utterly manipulated by most religions, the so called Convention religions have manipulated the whole truth.
“Religion is useless, we don’t need it. We need movements and Ideology, we need deeper understanding of our culture; tradition and spirituality for us to be the best.” says Dr. Nataamba, an expert in African traditions and spirituality based in Uganda.
Through understanding our culture and tradition, we also need to desist from European research but embark on our own. When we are embarking on our own history we also need to be guided by the highest, not the Lowest.
What does the highest and the lowest mean?
The lowest is the root and backbone of human race and evolution powers ranging from the Ghost or Soul that is locally translated as (Omuzimu/Umuzimu) in several parts of the Great Lakes Region particularly in some languages spoken in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.
This stands as the 1st level of spirituality then we head to Clan spirituality that guides the Clans in the whole world (Emandwa small gods) being the second level of spirituality in human beings.
The third important level of spirituality is ‘The Guardian Angels’ which other people call the third eye, sixth sense; consciousness. This level of spirituality is very crucial in believing and rituals.
The guardian angels ‘third stage’ of spirituality is the level that connects man to Lowest and Highest, depending on what man chooses to do. For instance, when you choose to use the Ghost or Souls and the small gods; this level of spirituality tends to be at it’s weakest level of concentration because we human beings have decided to use spirituality by our own forces of spiritual law.
However, when at this level we decide to use the highest level of spirituality, we see the strength in the concentration of spiritual power by the spiritual force itself. The true spiritual focus is attained here.
When we focus on our guardian angels, we connect to the fourth level of spirituality that multiplies to many different levels of spirituality but the last spiritual level.
This is where we find the spirit of Bachwezi among others that God created and are living with us in the Universe.
So as Africans who think we are deep into tradition, we have embraced spiritual level number 1 and 2 because it’s easy to evoke the two into spiritual communication whereas spiritual level number three and most especially number four, is not by everyone to negotiate with but God himself sent powers to families and chosen people to operate in those levels.
Today no one can guide his guardian angels but they rather guide a person.
Today no one can wake up and say that I am going to be a Muchwezi/Mulangi and becomes one, it’s impossible.
For one to become a Mucwezi, it’s either generational or God Chosen.
If I want I can possess the spirit of my grandfather today because as a human being, I have authority on that spirit and when it possesses me; we start fighting over authority because now we are two in one.
Today I can evoke ‘Emandwa’ and I possess it and make rituals for it to possess me because I have authority over it possessing me. This is different from Bachwezi and that’s why it’s one of the last level of spiritual strength. No one today can tell you that he will call the Bachwezi spirit to possess him/her at the level of divine condition, foretelling or physical possession. That one would be deceiving you.
We are all possessed by that spirit because it’s within us. But getting possessed to the level of healing and understanding deep creation and formation of it’s strength or controlling it, is not everyones gift but God Chosen.
This is the point where religion becomes useless because it is a mechanism of divide and rule set by the Roman Empire agents, this is in reference to the so called Christianity.
As Africans we need to embark on spiritual movements and the higher spirits as explained above. What the higher spirits tell us and guide us about, is absolutely true and fine because you are about 99% negotiating with God.
The difference is that one percent is that God created these particular higher spirits to overrule others.

How does one pray?
You look for an organized place in your room or anywhere well arranged.
First timers you offer that place to God by saying that “God I have prepared this place for you and your Angels to meet me here every time I wish or pray from here.
Then normally you will be visiting that place or praying these hours:
Very early in the morning at 6am, midday 12pm, evening at 6pm before dusk then again in the late evening before sleeping and most importantly 3am when the Holy Spirit is most active.
How do you arrange your prayers?
You get to the place you’re to pray from, put on your white cloth which in some parts of Uganda and the neighborhood is known as “akatengye or Kabaraaho or the process is also referred to as okwetwekyerera” and if you have muhatsiriro (Holly water), you pour it around the place and chase the bad spirits…
